Incorrect University has confirmation that the Tufts University campus police force is insisting that there be a metal detector. One can only assume that they are afraid that the left and Islamists are not genuine when they claim an interest in the 1st amendment, and in fact might resort to violence to deny peaceful dialog.

Tuft’s University might be adding the requirement of a metal detector if Daniel Pipes speaks at an event there which is open to the public. Why would you need a metal detector if those who are against Pipes simply represent loyal patriotic opposition??
