Today- after the blowout from last night at Emory University- I was back on the road heading to Washington DC.
When I arrived I met up with co-conspirator at Incorrect U., Andrew Marcus and we went down by the FOX News headquarters where David Horowitz was being interviewed.

The protesters were not subdued because there was no security at all…compared to the numbers of people involved. There was one plain clothesed cop nicely asking people in a low tone to sit down or move to the back to stop obstructing the view of the others in the room as a courtesy - but there was no penalty for ignoring the nice cop.
There was no attempt to subdue anyone - Horowitz just dipped. I never saw anything so pitiful as the Emory security program.
Yes, they shouted Horowitz down, yes they were rude…they should have answered to the law for their disruptions…it should have been expected…but there was no attempt to make the event worth while by the (mild mannered) College Republican leadership. I was watching for leadership for any direction and didn’t find any. All I heard were the standard “Osama was a CIA operative, Bush is the Fascist garble - what about Abu Ghraib” The best one was the guy who called out “Horowitz is an Anti-Semite”. My friend who came along with no idea of what he was stepping into said simply, “But that guy is a Jew. His name is Horowitz not Himmler,” pointing out the absurdity totally innocent of the situation.
