Update: Nonie Darwish is constantly being interrupted at UC Berkeley.
- Two people from the audience almost came to blows!
- They were both escourted from the building by the police who are filming the event this evening.
- Andrew Marcus is outside the event interviewing a woman who says that Iran is a fascist state that is partially free. Huh?
- As campus police were escourting the disruptive students from the room the young Leftists in the crowd were chanting, you guessed it… “Let him go! Let him go!”
- The young Leftists are walking in and out on Nonie Darwish just to interrupt her like the students did last week at Wellesley College.
Here is an image of the first protester ejected from the Nonie Darwish event at UC Berkeley. Couldn’t tell you what he was saying because he was spouting like a fanatic through a mask. Oh well.

Correction: Oops. He was not ejected (yet). The person next to him was. He is still in the room… with his mask on.

It was a crazy scene. Before the event people outside were protesting, screaming that women were not being oppressed by Islamofacism but by capitalism. As soon as Darwish started to speak, the protestors started screaming until they were escorted out.
After that they started banging on the doors of the auditorium and chanting so that it was hard to hear Darwish, whose mic was not working half the time.
Another protestor, a young man wearing a green shirt advertising the “Peace not Prejudice” rally on Thursday, began screaming that terrorism is used by all nations in their struggles. Outside, it quickly became clear he is an acid casualty as he damned the USA, both Democrats and Republicans, and all “non-Earth based religions.”
He also seemed to take offense that Muslims are not supposed to smoke marijuana.
Fortunately, some students who came as protestors genuinely did appear to care about what Darwish was saying and this led to many productive discussions outside. One student even confided to me that the radical leftists supporting terrorism and spouting nonesense conspiratorial slogans makes her look bad as a liberal, college student, and yes, as a Muslim.
To me, opening the discussion on Militant Islam is what this event is all about, and based on the informal discussions, it succeeded fantastically.

Was Michael Moore there with a mic and camera?
Was there any Hillary signs? If no, then we’re safe.

There are laws about wearing masks in banks - should they not apply to settings such as these?
It should be against the law to wear a mask in an academic setting…especially when the enemy we face - jihad, is famous precisely for wearing masks when they commit acts of atrocity.
There should be a level of awareness regarding these acts…the first is to understand that Islamofascism has a global reach for its jihadi network.
The proctors of these events and speakers of these events are demonstrating an amazing amount of courage…the least the campus officials and city/state police can do is to force masks to be removed inside buildings - and enforce it by law…in terms of bank heists/terrorism/yelling fire in a crowded movie theatre…
All participants of this Islamofascism week should refuse to feel uncomfortable for discussing reality. This is the first step to success. Innocence of fear is the first step - how is that achieved. By removing the immediate threat or possible threat from the scene of note.

What’s most shameful and cynical about the campus reaction to Darwish’s presence is that Mario Savio, the New Left leader of the “Free Speech Movement,” is memorialized in an engraving in Berkeley’s undergraduate library (Moffitt Library).
“Free speech” for the left is never about liberal free speech, and always about their dictatorial speech (including their violent tactics). That’s the shameful part. The cynical part is that the campus administration and faculty milks this “tolerant” and “progressive” reputation for all it’s worth, in terms of prestige and 5- and 6-figure incomes.

Too bad these Leftists, Marxists and Islamofascist-sympathizers have shown themselves to be a bunch of stupid, prejudicial retards full of hate and ignorance.

I dunno, but the guy in the orange jumpsuit and black mask reminded me of the zodiak killer. Maybe it’s because the movie “Zodiak” just was released on DVD. Good movie by the way. Mark Ruffalo did a good job as the cop.

Note re Ruffalo, in real life he does a lousy job as a real leftist:
