FYI - This week is also Bigfoot Awareness Week, an event intended to raise awareness about another fictional entity that poses a dire threat to our nation. I urge you to please support your local Bigfoot Awareness Week events. Together we can fight the spread of radical Sasquatchism.

Islamophobia, what we refer to IslamoFascism was the most ridiculous way of trying to prove what Islam is about and ridiculous way of showing people of color. This week besides putting down one religion, was the most racist week that I had ever seen and experienced as an student. yes! as you may guess, I’m a muslim student, currently enrolled at uw. I Would suggest all of you guys or who ever was pro IslamoFascism, to go out in the public ask true, good muslims about their religion and what their religion is really about! It is not what you guys are thinking. Islam is a religion of Peace and it is agains Racism and Prejudice. We had supports from many different organizations at the University of Washington against this awareness you guys made an attempt to put out there. We had Jewish student organizations, Organizations of people of color and many many many student body groups on our side, not just because they were muslims or though Islam was the greatest religion, NO, because they had one thing in common with us, they believed Islam being as good as any other religion out there in the world. They believed that Islam is a religion of peace and not racism and prejudice! I am embarrased of the republicans’ perspective in judging one specific religion. let us remember that people of middle east, people of color, and muslims are not the only ones who have a bad reputation and we always will have people who are disliking us every moment. and like once a brother said, even a muslim might hate a muslim … even a Sunni might hate a Shia, but that doesn’t make Islam’s reputation bad as a whole. Who dares going in the street and saying negative things about Christianity and Judaism? Why doesn’t anyone uprise against these religions! why doesn’t anyone uprise against those ppl who come to UW campuses to share their experience of being part of a Church Youth Group…? WHy?! why doesn’t a muslim uprise against them? LET ME TELL YOU this much, it’s all about matter of respect for ones religion. So I would suggest you deeply learning about Islam as an religion and as what people are supposed to practice and follow. Just because there are 6 bad muslims in the world, they don’t represent the entire muslim community around the world!
Thanks
